Our Philosophy

Strength
Strength is the foundation of movement. It refers to ligaments, tendons, joints, mobility and balance as much as it does to muscle.
It is important to maintain this foundation as this is one of the best ways to combat ageing.

Education
We want you to understand your body and its needs better. We do not teach a system.
We use principles and techniques (as taught by world-renowned teachers in the fitness industry) to achieve more benefits from every movement.

Practice
Exercise with intent and focus will yield greater results in the long term than simply pushing your limits every session.
Practicing programmes with a longer duration works better than simply changing it up for entertainment.
StrongFirst
Also known as “the school of strength” is a global provider of strength education. Our Instructors specialise in safe and effective kettlebell, barbell, and bodyweight training. Strongfirst is a principle-based system that approaches strength as a skill and is thus trained as such. Harmonising tension and relaxation. We find that kettlebell training has a vast carry over to many different aspects of life, whether it is your sport, health, weight loss, muscle building, work, or just the daily grind of life. At Strongfirst we like to say: “Strength has a greater purpose”.
Stærk Movement has 3 certified Strongfirst Coaches (that number will soon be growing) on-site to assure quality and safety standards are met throughout your strength journey.
ATG
Athletic Truth Group is a principle-based system that creates results far exceeding the expectancy of modern exercise science.
With each exercise and each session, you are not just training: you are learning about your own body’s unique strengths and weaknesses, and to date, we have never seen a mysterious case of pain, and NEVER seen something we could not do something about.
Stærk Movement has the first and up to the writing of this article, the only ATG endorsed Coach in South Africa as Sean van Eeden who is spending countless hours every week into mastering this system in order to help people with their pain so they can get back to doing the things they love doing.
